Back in &#039;96 I learned of the Control Tech Lawwill Leader forks. They had two forks linked to oscillating arms at the top and bottom, with a single shock near the steerer. Here&#039;s a link to different types of the &quot;alternative&quot; forks:

I have a feeling that their limited travel, higher weight and complicated contruction did not favourably compare to the present fork technology. The Whyte PRST-1 XT used a front suspension similar to the BMW Telelever.
